En esta muestra en la Embajada Argentina en Washington, me sentí convocada a establecer un contraste entre mi pintura y algunos elementos de la arquitectura neoclásica de la sala, con su forma oval y la boiserie decorativa en las paredes. Investigo en esta obra las polaridades y contradicciones entre el orden de lo arquitectónico y el caos de lo orgánico. A partir de este objetivo presento siete universos pictóricos que con sus formas geométricas fragmentadas puedan romper con la percepción del orden y armonía clásicos. Los colores estridentes y variados también fueron elegidos para generar una oposición respecto al color apastelado de la sala. A su vez, la pintura con sus chorreaduras, propone otra ruptura formal, con la intención de ir más allá de los bordes. Cada políptico intenta proponer al espectador un juego personal donde proyectar sus propios universos. Círculos, rectángulos y triángulos que danzan entre los límites del espacio.

Parallel Universes
In this exhibition at the Embassy of Argentina in Washington, I felt called to establish a contrast between my painting and some elements of the neoclassical architecture of the room, with its oval shape and the decorative boiserie on the walls. I investigate in this work the polarities and contradictions between the order of the architectural and the chaos of the organic. From this objective I present seven pictorial universes that with their fragmented geometric forms can break with the perception of classical order and harmony. The strident and varied colors were also chosen to generate an opposition to the pastel color of the room. In turn, the painting with its drippings, proposes another formal break, with the intention of going beyond the edges. Each polyptych tries to propose to the spectator a personal game in which to project its own universes. Circles, rectangles and triangles that dance between the limits of space.
