Espirales de la Memoria
La geometría imaginaria de lo vivido.
La relación entre una imagen nueva y una experiencia que ha permanecido dormida en nuestro inconsciente suele ser arbitraria. Hay rastros extraviados de la memoria, que se encuentran insospechadamente al acecho, esperando el momento de su aparición. No sabemos cómo ni en qué momento de nuestra vida irrumpen. Inevitablemente lo hacen, silenciosamente y sin aviso.
Esta muestra de Nora Cherñajovsky, tiene en gran medida que ver con eso: con un objeto lejano, fuente de experiencias que han permanecido dormidas en la memoria, que irrumpe y plantea la necesidad impostergable de su reelaboración. Desde lo afectivo, lo simbólico y lo formal. Los tres planos se encuentran en esta escena que se sostiene a partir de las distintas instancias de una ampliada reflexión en torno de ese objeto de afecto: la calesita.

Imaginary Geometry of Life.
The relationship between a new image and an experience that has been dormant in our unconsciousness is usually arbitrary. There are lost traces of memory that are unsuspectingly lurking, waiting for the moment to appear. We don’t know how or in what moment of our lives they will appear. But inevitably they do so, in silence and without warning.
Nora Cherñajovsky’s exhibition, to a great extent, has to do with this: with a distant object, a source of experiences that have remained dormant in memory, that barge in and raise the ineluctable need of its re-elaboration. From the affective, symbolic and formal points of view. These three levels meet in a scene that is sustained from different instances of a broadened reflection around this object of affection: the merry-go-round.
